Cincinnati Pit Crew (CPC) prides itself on being an organization that responds individually to each inquiry or request we receive. Please understand that individuals who are responding to electronic communications are volunteers who each also have personal jobs and families. All inquiries should receive a personal individual response within 48 business hours.
Due to liability insurance restrictions, CPC is not able to accept dogs found as strays into the rescue program. It is recommended that dogs found as strays be taken to a local animal shelter so that the shelter intake staff may assess the dog and provide initial veterinary protocols.
Although CPC is unable to accept direct owner surrenders from individuals, we are able to provide guidance and support through the surrender process and can often provide referrals to training or support organizations that can help individuals avoid having to surrender their dog. For assistance with the surrender process, please complete an Owner Surrender Request Form so that CPC may assess your current situation and provide referrals and recommendations.
